Do not finance a car before your mortgage closes! The mortgage lender can find out before your closing and cancel your mortgage approval. Just wait until the mortgage closes!

Big news!

After a lot of thought, I’m excited to share that I’ve made the move to Tango Financial.

Tango Financial funds over $4.2 billion in mortgage volume, and the reason for this switch is simple: access to stronger training, better systems, and an even broader range of lenders. All of this means more options, smarter strategies, and better outcomes for my clients.

I also want to sincerely thank Northwood Mortgage for an incredible 8 years. I’m grateful for the experience, relationships, and opportunities during my time there.

I want to give a big thank you to Melanie Jaffray for her incredible support in 2025. Melanie had a phenomenal year, which is a true testament to her skill, dedication, and work ethic—especially in what many realtors would agree was one of the toughest years in the business.

Melanie is always working, even while on a well-deserved vacation, and it shows in the level of care she provides to her clients. She genuinely puts their needs first and has the expertise to guide both buyers and sellers with confidence.

We recently collaborated on a purchase where the clients’ bank told them they would need to sell their current home before purchasing their dream home. The challenge was that they found the home the loved, but didn’t have enough time to sell. Because I work with multiple banks and lenders, I was able to secure a mortgage approval for their new home—without rushing the sale of their existing one.

The Waterloo Chapter of The Entrepreneur Nation just wrapped up our final lunch meeting of 2025 — and what a year it’s been! We’ve welcomed incredible new members and seen some fantastic business collaborations take shape.
A special shoutout to Marcus Gaughan, who delivered an excellent presentation on marketing, especially on why email marketing remains such a powerful tool when done right. His company, Minds On Fire, truly knows how to create profitable email campaigns, among other things to help grow your customer base. Marcus is a marketing genius in every sense.
On a side note, I'm proud to announce that I am officially the Senior Regional Director, and look to lead this group to tremendous growth in 2026.
