Not sure if that email you received is legit?!?!

Scammers may pose as a company you trust - like SGI - in order to lower your guard. They want you to be able to collect your log-in credentials, banking information or other personal data.

If you received an email from SGI CANADA - do not click any links, download any attachments, or provide any information until you are 100% sure it was sent by SGI.
Some tips to keep you safe include:

- Do not open if the sender’s email address is not from .sk.ca or .ca
- SGI will never ask for sensitive information, such as personal information, passwords or banking details via email.

With the current Canada Post strike situation, we are reminding you to check your expiry dates to avoid any registrations running out on you.

Do you have a November or December birthday? Check your Driver Licence for expiry dates, as the renewal notice would not be mailed to you at this time.

If you are wondering where your paperwork is containing policy documents/renewals, we are trying to get these to you as best we can during this time.

➡️ Let’s talk snowmobiles!! Are you ready?

Did you know that WITHOUT a valid plate on your sled, you can only drive it on your own farm property or on other farmland ONLY with landowner consent?

You must have your sled actively plated if you are driving it on any crown land (crossing or driving in ditches, frozen lakes or rivers, or SSA trails including out of province sledding/mountain trips).

A sled registration for the whole season (until the end of April) costs on average around $160. That makes it legal for you to sled anywhere off your own private land.

➡️ You can also add your sled to your Auto Pak to get collision coverage, comprehensive (theft, vandalism, etc) and of course the most important, liability!

Several email phishing scams are being circulated, which tell customers to click a link to renew their insurance policy.

If you are suspicious of an email, or any correspondence that appears to be from SGI, please log in to MySGI, or call our Customer Service Centre at 1-844-855-2744, to find out if it's time to renew your policy.

Do not click any links or provide any financial information.
