On February of 1944 Mr Robert Wyler, who was then the secretary of the Luseland Wheat Pool Committee, wrote to registrar of Credit Unions for the Province of Saskatchewan, about the formation of the Credit Union in Luseland. Information was sent to Luseland on the formation of a Credit Union, explaining that if sufficient interest was generated, a Credit Union could be organized. The Credit Union
was given its charter on June 5,1963 as No 347 and was called the Luseland District Savings and Credit Union Ltd. The incorporators were: August Scheidt, Sheila Osterhold, Wayne Osterhold, Robert Reiber, Walter Scholer, Joe Zunti, Casper Zunti, Joe Bazylinski, Karl Meier and Earl Ternan. The first Board of Directors was comprised of Wayne Osterhold, President, Bill Seiben Secretary, Don Enarson Vic President, Francis Bouchard, Raymond Meier,Jack Schafer, Menzo House, Mike Constantinoff, Karl Meier, George Olfert, John Budd and Len Longlitz. The treasurer was Randy Bell and the Credit Union was operated out of the Bell Agencies Office.
