What is a Retorque?

*Retorquing tires involves re-checking the lug nut tightness on a wheel after it has been removed and reinstalled, usually within 50-100 kilometers of driving. This is a safety measure because initial torquing can be affected by various factors, such as dirt on the wheel or hub, and driving can cause the lug nuts to settle or loosen. A retorque ensures that all lug nuts are at the correct torque, preventing potential wheel detachment and ensuring your vehicle's safety.

*****Why Retorque?****

*Safety:
Properly torqued lug nuts are crucial for securing the wheel to the hub. A wheel coming off while driving is extremely dangerous.

*Settling:
Driving causes the lug nuts to settle into place as they encounter the weight of the vehicle, rotational forces, bumps, and temperature changes.

*Stresses:
The forces and stresses of driving can cause lug nuts to tighten or loosen.

*Aluminum Rims:
