The Women in Asset Management (WAM) Conference is taking place on February 28th at Ivey in the multi-purpose room from 6-8pm.

The event is open to 1st and 2nd years as well as HBA1/2/3 who are either IAMC or WIM members. The conference is an opportunity for guests to learn about Ivey's WAM program, hear from senior speakers at BMO, learn about navigating a career in finance, and network with others in the industry. Dinner will be provided to all those in attendance.

IAMC is hosting its Trading Competition Kick-Off and an Investing Strategy Educational on Wednesday, January 18th at 1:30pm.

Anyone who is interested in taking part in IAMC's 7-week trading competition should join us to learn about the rules and details of the competition. Wednesday's event will also include a quick investing educational on different strategies to guarantee success in the competition!

There is $500 worth of prizes up for grabs for a handful of lucky winners at the end of the competition, and free pizza will be provided to those attending Wednesday's session.

This Wednesday, November 23rd IAMC is hosting a Fireside Chat to discuss broader careers within finance. Our panelists have a broad array of experience within the realm of finance and are looking forward to sharing a bit about their career journey post graduation.

This past Tuesday IAMC had the pleasure of partaking in two firm trip visits to the OMERS and CPPIB offices in Toronto. Our club heard from various panels about life at both firms and enjoyed the opportunity to build new relationships. Thank you to both firms for a fantastic day and to all who attended!
