VERGE is a partnership between Libro Credit Union, London Community Foundation, Sisters of St. Joseph, and United Way London & Middlesex with Pillar Nonprofit Network acting as the backbone organization. nge. VERGE acts as an educational resource for potential investors to learn about the purpose and distinguishing characteristics of social finance. VERGE connects those who want to be social investors to social enterprises. VERGE nurtures innovative thinking from local investors, helping them explore how their investment portfolios can contribute to impactful, progressive change. Social enterprises and social entrepreneurs can apply for VERGE financing and at the same time gain knowledge about resources available to help their business advance. Through a Social Enterprise Loan Fund, VERGE will provide loans to early stage, high growth social enterprises in our region on the VERGE of a breakthrough. The program leverages our growing entrepreneurship eco-system, to create wraparound supports before, during and after financing.
