Hard to believe, it’s May 2-4 long weekend!

Whether you’re heading to the cottage, around a campfire, on a patio, or just soaking up some much-needed sunshine (it’s supposed to be 29 and sunny on Monday), enjoy every minute of this unofficial kickoff to summer.

A few fun Canadian facts for your long weekend conversations:

• Canadians eat an estimated 300 million orders of poutine every year

• The Caesar cocktail was invented in Canada, and Canadians drink more Caesars than anywhere else in the world

• Over 2 million Canadians head camping during the May long weekend

Hi there….as we head into what is usually the busy season in the mortgage world, I thought I’d take a moment to reintroduce myself.

I’ve been helping clients with their mortgages for 26 years and spent 9 years with CIBC before that, so yes, it’s been a minute!!

I’m also a proud mom to my amazing 23 year old son Logan, and dog mom to Murphy, my loyal sidekick and unofficial office assistant.

I’m a huge Montreal Canadiens fan - Go Habs Go!!!, love the Toronto Blue Jays, but my favourite player and dman will always be my son. Although his hockey career is over, nothing will beat the time I spent watching him play.

When I’m not working, I’m happiest spending time with family and friends, working out, and getting outside for a walk.

I truly love what I do, being part of my clients’ journeys and helping them achieve homeownership never gets old.

Thanks so much for following along and trusting me with such an important part of your life 🤍

Taking a week away when you’re self-employed and a one-person band is never as simple as just packing a suitcase. It’s the days leading up to it……making sure files are complete, conditions are satisfied, clients are updated, lenders are responded to, and everything is in place before you can truly shut off.

So grateful I was able to step away, recharge, and reset. And even more grateful to be back at my desk doing what I love most, helping clients navigate their mortgage journey every step of the way.

I even met some new friends, several iguanas, daily!
