Today Colombia shook and so did my heart. I have a deep pain for my homeland. This morning, August 10, a 7.4 magnitude earthquake struck western Colombia, with the epicenter near San José del Palmar in Chocó. It was felt in Bogotá, Cali, Medellín, and across the Coffee Region.

Families have been affected, there are people trapped, and communities who lost everything.
