September 4 marked the grand opening of First Nations University Career Centre and Work-Integrated Learning Initiative, launched in partnership with Co-operators. The space supports Indigenous students’ transition from the classroom to the workforce by blending cultural teachings with career preparation skills.
The celebration began with a Traditional Pipe Ceremony, leading into media interviews and a ribbon cutting, all to commemorate this significant milestone on the path of reconciliation.

Co-operators is committed to walking alongside Indigenous communities to bridge the gap between students, graduates, and meaningful job opportunities.
