Grateful, proud, and a little bittersweet to share that I’ve been recognized in DLC’s Master Club.
This achievement wouldn’t be possible without the incredible ecosystem around me. I’m thankful to be part of AIMI Collective Mortgage Group & Dominion Lending Centres where Mortgage Guru Financial is proudly licensed, and to operate within a platform that truly supports doing things the right way.
Huge thanks to my mentors Asim Ali, Gary Mauris, and Tracy Valko - your guidance and expertise have been invaluable in navigating complex deals. And a special shoutout to Matthew Shepherd, our behind-the-scenes underwriting director and Kyle Benzies -, a key partner in navigating complex deals.
This recognition is bittersweet, because our focus has never been on easy files. While many in the industry gravitate toward straightforward deals, we run toward the fire—taking on the most complex mortgage situations. Many clients this past year came to us as their last option, with homes and businesses genuinely on the line.
In a challenging economic environment, deep expertise, creativity, and calm problem-solving have never been more important. Through expert-level underwriting, multi-step solutions, and strong lender connections, we were able to come through when it mattered most. The happy clients—and yes, a few happy tears—made it all worth it.
