Queen's Trading Committee - QTC Official page of the Queen's Commerce Trading Competition, the largest year-round stock trad

Founded in 2007, QTC has hosted stock trading simulations and regular meetings and events for students from a variety of backgrounds to discuss key market events and technical theories. QTC hosts the first and only year-round trading competition at Queen’s. This competition involves a 6-month portfolio simulation beginning in October, with the goal of each competitor to maximize the value of their

portfolio. Participants are encouraged to study the financial markets regularly and thus develop practical trading knowledge and experience. In addition to the trading competition, QTC hosts various other events throughout the year such as tutorials and trading floor visits. QTC’s goal is to give students a hands-on opportunity to experiment with investing and trading, while also enriching their knowledge of the financial markets.
