So are we in a Bull or Bear market? I didn't know the difference for the longest time! What has been the history of the markets over the last 60 years? IS there a pattern? When we step back and look at what has happened in markets, there is one for sure. There will be up times (Bull) and Down Times (Bear). A correction always comes after a time of increase and it is usually driven by a crisis. If you have been concerned during this time, reach out for a review of your goals and what is important. We will get through this together.

What defines your lifestyle? Maybe its where you live, your community, your friends & family, or even your pets. Or maybe its the car you drive or the vacations you take. Preparing for the unexpected, can be difficult, but not impossible if we take the long term perspective. We are living in a time of ‘What if’s”. During this time of self-isolation, I found I wasn't as prepared as I would have wanted to be. I needed to make some adjustments. If this continues, more changes will need to be made. Thankfully though every day is a new beginning!

Are you worried about how you will pay your bills due to a layoff or reduced hours in this really tough time? Here's an idea that might help. Take a moment and list all of your expenses. Look at your automatic payments and if you can, stop them from coming out automatically so that you can choose week by week what to pay. Ask the Lord what bills to prioritize and take back control of where your money is going! You may be surprised by what you find.

Are you living by Fear or By Faith?
In these times of uncertainty, many are being laid off or have reduced hours. Does this make you anxious? Jack is not worried about anything. She is at peace. Matt 6:34 says, “So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s troubles are enough for today.” 80% of what we worry about never happens. Trust the Lord that he will bring you through this time. AND you will be made stronger through the experience.
