📢 Big changes have arrived for your Alberta ID!

As of July 2, 2026, the Government of Alberta introduced 3-in-1 drivers' licences/ID cards.

The new combined ID now includes:
✅ Your driver's licence or provincial ID
✅ Your Alberta Personal Health Number (PHN)
✅ Proof of Canadian citizenship

What this means for you — at your next renewal, bring:
✅ Your current licence or ID
✅ Proof of citizenship or status (e.g. passport, birth certificate, or permanent resident card)
✅ Your Alberta Personal Health Card (printed or digital via the MyHealth Alberta app — photos not accepted)
✅ Medical report (if required)

🚨 Watch Out for “Mobile Deposit Only” Cheque Scams! 🚨

If you receive a cheque that says “For Mobile Deposit Only,” be careful — it could be fraudulent. Scammers may ask you to deposit the cheque and send part of the money back to them.

The funds might appear in your account at first, but if the cheque is fake, the bank will remove the money and you’re responsible for the loss.

💡 Protect yourself:
- Never send money back to someone who sent you a cheque
- Never share your banking information
- If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is
