RATE REDUCTION:

Bank of Canada announces another rate decrease. This morning the Bank of Canada (BofC) reduced the Prime Rate by another 0.25% to a new rate of 4.5%. This should reduce the variable mortgage rate to approximately 6.7% and improve the fixed mortgage rates accordingly.
