In the winter your home is most susceptible to water damage including claims due to burst pipes, ice damming, and flooding due to snow melt.

Have you double checked your home insurance policy to make sure you have full policy limits for water damage, sewer backup and overland flooding?

Many insurance companies have started capping these important coverages, if you haven't I recommend double checking your policy.
