While they're often used interchangeably, they're not the same.

❤️Hearts & Hands 4 Evacuees: Kids & Kritters 🐾

When families are forced to leave everything behind, the little things can mean so much.

Many children affected by the wildfires have had to leave their homes with little or nothing. Their pets have also been displaced and need food, comfort and essential supplies.

We are coming together as a community to provide something special for children and essential supplies for their beloved pets.

🧸 For the Kids
Please consider donating new or gently used, clean toys and children's items that can bring comfort and a little joy to children who have lost their belongings.
🎁 New and gently used toys
🎨 Games, puzzles, books and craft supplies
🧸 Stuffed animals and comfort items
⚽ Gently used sports equipment and shoes for kids

🐾 For the Pets
Many families have had to evacuate with their beloved dogs, cats and other household pets. Donations of the following are greatly appreciated:
🐶 Dog and cat food
🐱 Cat litter
🛏️ Blankets, towels and bedding
📦 Crates and pet carriers
🧸 New pet toys
💧 Water bowls and bottles
🐾 Other essential household pet supplies

❤️ You Can Also Help With
Gift cards and cash donations are gratefully accepted and can help us purchase items where the need is greatest.

Donations will be distributed to evacuee families, the BC SPCA, and the Interior Wildlife Rehabilitation Society. Special thanks to Mission Thrift and East Meets West Children's Foundation for their support.
