We've all heard about filling a shoebox of essentials and sending it away, now here's a similar idea but keeping it local 💕👜👛💛 The lovely Patti is starting to collect gently used backpacks and purses filled with essentials for the women in need in our community 🫶🌟💕 Our office (and a few other locations throughout the city) will be happy to collect these leading up to the big delivery day 🎉🙌 don't be shy ladies, dig out those old purses and bags and get them filled with goodies and essentials to make someone's day a little bit brighter ☀️🫶💛

👜💕 PURSES & BACKPACKS FOR WOMEN IN NEED — YEAR 9! 💕👜
Hello everyone! It’s that time of year again, and I’m beginning my 9th year of collecting gently used purses and backpacks for women in need in our community. ❤️
These purses mean SO much. Many of the women who receive them have very little, and something as simple as a purse filled with necessities, comfort items and a little kindness can make a woman feel cared for and remembered.
If you would like to help, you can donate a gently used purse or backpack and fill it with items such as mitts or gloves, a scarf, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrush, brush or comb, wipes, lotion, makeup, perfume, lip balm, candy, sunglasses, hand warmers, a travel mug or a small gift card for a coffee shop or restaurant. Even adding a warm, handwritten note reminding her that she matters can make the gift extra special. 💗
If shopping isn’t convenient, you can also make a cash donation, and I will happily purchase items on behalf of you or your business.
✨ I’ll be collecting until December 10th.
This year, the purses and backpacks will be distributed to women in need through The Tree and CMHA.
I would SO appreciate your help in helping another woman feel a little more loved and supported this holiday season. Every purse, every item and every donation makes a difference.
