Rate hikes and decreasing affordability is a tough subject these days. It's sad to think how people/families are affected by this. We also should be reminded that when things are tough, we need to be honest where we are at financially, be disciplined with our budgets, and prioritize our needs.
I was on CBC Radio a few weeks back talking about affordability and the market. People's situations are real and we should have empathy for that. We should also know that when people can't afford their living, they need to adjust. Here's the brief interview:
