Keeping Kamloops Beautiful, One Trail at a Time through Adopt-A-Trail (City of Kamloops - Parks, Recreation & Culture)
Recently, members of the Avanti CPA LLP team volunteered along the Wagon Trail in Sahali Terrace Nature Park as part of the City of Kamloops' Adopt-A-Trail program. Through this initiative, volunteers help keep local trails litter-free, report trail maintenance and safety concerns, and support the preservation of the natural spaces that make Kamloops such a special place to live and explore.
The Adopt-A-Road and Adopt-A-Trail program has been helping organize volunteers since the 1980s and now includes more than 100 community groups and individuals caring for trails and roadways throughout Kamloops. The Adopt-A-Trail program was expanded in 2018 to help support the City's growing trail network and encourage stewardship of our outdoor spaces.
A special thank you to our incredible Avanti team members who donated their time and energy to this effort. Community involvement is one of our core values, and we are proud to continue a tradition of volunteerism that helps maintain the beauty of our city for residents and visitors alike.
Thank you to the City of Kamloops for coordinating this important program and for providing opportunities for local organizations to make a positive impact. Together, we can help keep Kamloops clean, beautiful, and vibrant for everyone to enjoy.
