This morning, Mark Bertoli and Amy Hamilton were pleased to support the Kamloops Food Bank Starfish Backpack Food Drive on behalf of Generation Private Wealth.

Generation Private Wealth donated $1,000 to help support the important work of the Starfish Backpack Program and its efforts to provide food for local children and families who need a little extra support.

We’re grateful for the organizations, volunteers and community members who come together to make initiatives like this possible.

Canada’s National Parks Are Free This Summer, But Read The Fine Print First

The Canadian government is opening the gates to over 200 spectacular landscapes this summer by waiving admission fees to national parks, historic sites, urban parks and marine conservation areas and lockage fees at canals on historic waterways.

On paper, it is free, but those who fail to read the fine print on parking mandates, camping discounts, or provincial jurisdictions could end up surprised.
