Not kidding—lenders are painfully slow right now. That means we need to get your paperwork in earlier than usual so things don’t get held up. Here’s how you can help us keep things moving:

• Send us your offer docs ASAP. Don’t assume your realtor will—double check and send them yourself.
• Prep your documents early. That means updated pay stubs, and ask your employer for a fresh job letter before you write an offer.
• Actually read our emails. Lenders are being extra picky lately, and sometimes they throw us a curveball. If we ask for something, it’s because we really do need it.
