Last week, it was such a joy to once again partner with Upper Fraser Valley RCMP and Cedar Strong Prevention & Intervention Society for another edition of our Youth Adventures program!
The wet weather didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits! There was plenty of fun, laughter and adventure throughout the day, with 9-Square, Minute to Win It, archery, riflery and plenty of time to connect and have fun together. And we finished the day with some karaoke!
We’re so thankful for the opportunity to create a space where local youth can try new things, build relationships and enjoy a day of adventure at Camp Kawkawa. A big thank you to everyone who helped make the day possible!

“UCM says thank you! Fantastic experience at Camp.”

We love finding little notes like this left on our whiteboard!

Feedback from our guests means so much to us. It’s incredibly encouraging to know that people are enjoying their time at Kawkawa, making memories, connecting with others, and experiencing the space we’ve worked hard to create.

Thank you to everyone who takes the time to share your experience with us. We’re grateful for every group that chooses to spend time at Kawkawa!

It was such a privilege to host Rescue Cambodia at Camp Kawkawa this week! What a joy it was to spend time with these sweet kids and provide a space for them to create special memories together. We’re so grateful for the opportunity to welcome them to camp and be part of their week! Thank you, Rescue Cambodia, for spending time with us!

I received some photos from the team that would have been in the previous blog. Here they are:After waking up in our Abbotsford billets' homes, we regrouped at a local park. The kids were given plenty of time to run around and wake themselves up, although a few of them were still feeling lethargic d...

We are so thankful for the team at Chilliwack Alliance Church and the work they do to put on their annual car show and autocross fundraiser to help send kids to camp.

Over the years, this event has grown into something pretty special, with a car show, autocross, Matchbox car races, food trucks and radio-controlled cars. There really is something for everyone!

But what makes this event so meaningful is what happens beyond the fun. Last year, the funds raised helped 42 kids who would not otherwise have had a camp experience join us at Camp Kawkawa for a week of camp.

That is a pretty amazing impact from a day of cars, community and generosity.

It is truly a blessing to have supporters who recognise the value of sending kids to camp and who are willing to make it possible. We are so thankful for your partnership and for the difference you are making in the lives of young people.

Thank you, Chilliwack Alliance Church! We are grateful to be part of this wonderful community of supporters

A HUGE thank you for a very timely blessing!

We are incredibly grateful for the generous donation of this new wakeboard boat to Camp Kawkawa!

While a boat might seem like just a piece of equipment, this one will play a huge role in our summer camp program. During the summer, our boat is on the lake almost every day, towing campers on tubes and creating some of the fun, laughter and memories that make camp so special.

Our previous boat had served us well over the years, but it was getting older and beginning to have some issues. The timing of this donation could not have been better, and we are so thankful for this incredible provision.

Gifts like this are a wonderful reminder that the ministry of Kawkawa is made possible through the faithful generosity of so many people. Whether through financial gifts, equipment, volunteer hours, or other forms of support, every contribution helps us create space for people to cultivate deeper connection with God and others.

To the donor who made this possible: thank you! We are deeply grateful, and we know this boat will be used to bless hundreds of campers for years to come.

Thank you to everyone who continues to believe in and support the ministry of Camp Kawkawa. We couldn’t do it without you!
