I mean…. Have we tried it yet?

Interest rates are on the rise and while I look at them a lot it seems everyone and their mom is interested in what interest rates are doing. If your life revolves around interest rates because of your mortgage, then I think you’re in the wrong Mortgage set up.

Your interest rate is only one piece of the puzzle that is your mortgage. If your mortgage is not set up to be a full-blown strategy, then your interest rate could matter more than some of the other pieces.

When you set up your Mortgage to be a Full strategy with your financial plan, the interest rate sometimes does not even matter, it’s the strategy and the plan.

She told me she’s waiting for rates to drop.

She’s been saying it for two years.

In those two years her rent went up $300 a month and her grocery bill nearly doubled.

The rate didn’t steal her down payment. The waiting did.

Yesterday I learned that apparently one controversial Reel is enough for strangers on the internet to determine your intelligence, education level, political affiliation AND entire worldview. 😂

For the record, someone even called me a Liberal, so we were really covering all the bases.

But underneath the chaos, there’s something I actually care about here:

We need to get better at disagreeing.

Disagreement doesn’t require disrespect.

Disagreement doesn’t mean the other person is uneducated.

And disagreement should make us curious, not cruel.

Ask someone why they think the way they do.

Ask what they’ve read.

Ask what experiences have shaped their opinion.

Maybe you’ll change their mind. Maybe they’ll change yours. Maybe neither of you budges an inch.

That’s okay.

I don’t want a comment section full of people who agree with me.

I want people who are willing to think, question, learn and have conversations with people they don’t agree with.

Bring back respectful disagreement.

And PLEASE bring back curiosity.

The internet desperately needs it. 😂
