We bought our first home at 23 — and trust me, we learned a few things the hard way 🫣

Here are 3 things I’d do differently as a first-time buyer:
1️⃣ Work with a Mortgage Agent, not the bank.
 Banks sell products. Agents build plans — even if you’re not ready yet.
2️⃣ Get pre-approved before touring houses.
 We didn’t, and almost lost our dream home. Don’t roll the dice like we did.
3️⃣ Add a rental component (basement suite, in-law, duplex).
 It can help you qualify and lower your day-to-day costs through house hacking.

You don’t need to learn the hard way like we did — that’s literally why I became a Mortgage Agent.
