Auto insurance 101 - Auto mistake you need to avoid!
All of the below will cause an increase in your premiums and could put you into a Facility market.... especially in this hard market. *Take note young drivers it effects you even more!
-Tickets... of any sort EXcluding parking (can stay 3-10 years depending on the conviction) **Get caught with a mobile device is now a major or criminal charge with insurance companies.
-At fault claims (can stay 6 years)
-Cancellations for NonPayment of a policy( can stay 3-6 years)
A lot of people don’t understand that a stop sign or small speeding ticket can have such large consequences aside from just paying the fine, that will effect premiums for such a period as listed above.
Keep good driving habits to try and keep your premiums down.
