🏃‍♂️ On Sunday, Admiral Canada colleagues took part in the 2026 Halifax - Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure at Halifax's Garrison Grounds, joining thousands of Canadians in support of breast cancer research and support services.

This year, Team Admiral raised $6,049, contributing to the $18 million raised nationally through Canada's largest single-day volunteer-led fundraiser dedicated to breast cancer.

We're also honoured to have received the Corporate Spirit Award for Top Company Fundraising, marking the third time in the last four years that Admiral Canada has earned this recognition.

The award reflects the generosity and commitment of our colleagues, who have raised more than $28,000 over the past four years through the Run for the Cure.

A huge thank you to everyone who donated, fundraised, walked, ran, and showed their support. 💙

🚴‍♀️ What a way to finish.

On Saturday, Team Admiral joined more than 1,000 cyclists for the 12th and final BMO Ride for Cancer, helping raise a record-breaking $4.1 million for the QEII Foundation.

This year's ride will help fund Nova Scotia's first relocatable MRI suite, increasing access to diagnostic imaging, shortening wait times, and supporting earlier cancer detection across the province.

We're especially proud of the contribution made by our colleagues. Since 2019, Team Admiral has raised more than $68,900 through fundraising and participation in support of Ride for Cancer.

While this may have been the final ride, the impact will continue for years to come through improved cancer care for Nova Scotians.

A huge thank you to everyone who rode, donated, volunteered, and cheered participants on along the way. 💙

🏆 Celebrating Top 10 Awards Success for Admiral Canada

Last night, teams from across Admiral Group gathered in Cardiff, Wales, for the annual Top 10 Awards, a long-standing competition that celebrates outstanding teams from across the business.

Seven colleagues attended this year's event representing Admiral Canada, and we're proud to share that several Canadian teams were recognised among the Group's top-performing teams:

👏 Canada Claims also achieved a perfect 10/10 presentation score, earning a place in the Presentation 10 Club.

We're honoured to support Ecology Action Centre's Green Streets project through Admiral's Pathways to Employment and Green Futures funding streams.

Projects like Green Streets demonstrate how climate action can also create economic opportunity. By exploring a community-led approach to home energy retrofits in Cape Breton/Unama'ki, the initiative has the potential to reduce energy poverty, improve housing, strengthen local skills and create pathways to meaningful employment in the growing green economy.

For us, this is exactly the kind of work we want to support: practical solutions that help communities address today's challenges while building long-term resilience and opportunity.

Rupinder Kaur, Energy and skills development coordinator at the EAC, has contributed our most recent In Our Power blog: The Green Streets Vision for Cape Breton/Unama’ki.

🏠 Cape Breton communities continue to face growing pressures related to housing affordability, energy costs, workforce shortages and aging housing stock.

Nine of then ten Nova Scotian communities with the highest rates of energy poverty are in Cape Breton.

Green Streets brings these priorities together by exploring how a community pre-retrofit model could fill service gaps, strengthen local capacity, and keep economic benefits circulating within the community 🏘.

Our colleagues were happy to spend some time volunteering at North Grove Community Farm this week. Thanks to the North Grove team for the warm welcome and the incredible work you do in the community everyday.

Thanks to Admiral Insurance (Admiral Jobs - Canada) for spending a humid afternoon volunteering on The North Grove Community Farm this week.

Before ending the day making bouquets, this group helped us transition The North Grove chickens to a bigger run! We took down the old fence and put a protective mesh roof up over the new one to keep them safe. The happy hens now have twice as much space, lots more shade, and direct access to their favourite treat – dandelion leaves!

We appreciate everything you do for this community! 🐔

Facilitated by Josh Hynes from our Learning & Development team, the six-month program helped participants develop leadership capabilities, explore new perspectives, and build connections with colleagues from across the business.
