Another record-breaking year for the IWK Telethon for Children, with more than $9.1M raised in support of the IWK Health Centre and the families it serves across the Maritimes.

Admiral Canada was proud to return as a sponsor of this year’s Telethon Tribute Show, and to have 11 colleagues volunteering on the phones during the live broadcast, connecting with donors and helping support one of the region’s most important annual fundraisers.

Since 2012, Admiral has contributed over $50,000 to the IWK Foundation. It’s an organization that makes a direct impact through care, equipment, research, and facilities that support women, children, and families.

A big thank you to the organizers, volunteers, and everyone who tuned in, donated, or shared a story. It’s always powerful to see the community come together like this.

We were happy to spend part of our Truro Connect Day giving back alongside the amazing team at the Colchester Food Network.

Our remote teams rolled up their sleeves to help prepare the community garden space — weeding, mulching, organizing, and cleaning — and also donated $1,000 worth of school snacks and incontinence products to support local community needs.

Thank you to the Colchester Food Network for the warm welcome and for the important work you do every day in our community. We’re grateful for the opportunity to contribute and connect as a team while making a positive local impact.

19 years of Admiral Canada 💙

We’ve had a great week celebrating a big milestone with our team.
Nineteen years ago, Admiral Canada began with just 20 colleagues in a small retail space. Today, we’re a fully hybrid team working across the country, supporting seven customer-facing departments and contributing to Admiral’s global cyber security work.

It’s been an amazing journey, and it wouldn’t be possible without our people. Their energy, teamwork, and commitment make Admiral Canada what it is.

We’re so grateful for everyone who’s been part of the story so far.

🐾 A welcome paws during Mental Health Week

We were happy to welcome Therapeutic Paws of Canada to the office on Wednesday.

Gracie the Goldendoodle and Nathan the Golden Retriever brought plenty of wagging tails and smiles, along with a great reminder to step away from our screens and take a real break. Even a quick hello made a difference — animals have a special way of helping us feel a little calmer and more present.

Thank you to Therapeutic Paws of Canada and their volunteer teams for helping us create thoughtful pauses in the workday and supporting wellbeing at work.

We’re grateful to Alice House for the work they do every day supporting families in our community. 💙

This year marks our third year supporting the Alice House Playroom, a safe, welcoming space for children while caregivers access essential programs. Alongside this partnership, Admiral Canada colleagues continue to volunteer their time in support of Alice House’s food security and drop‑in programs.

This week, we welcomed five colleagues from our UK Cyber leadership team to Halifax, alongside members of our Canadian Cyber team who travelled from across the country to visit our office.

Wednesday’s Cyber Town Hall brought colleagues together in person and virtually from across Canada and the UK. The session focused on the role our Canadian teams play in supporting the wider business, and the work involved in keeping our customers and systems safe.

Sessions covered security consulting, SecOps, and security culture, with practical examples of phishing tactics. With time set aside for Q&A, colleagues had the chance to ask questions, share perspectives, and better understand how Cyber teams collaborate across regions.

Next up, our teams will be attending AltSecCon, Atlantic Canada’s largest cyber security conference.
