Good News This Holiday Season! 🎁✨The Bank of Canada held on the overnight rate. Overnight rate held at 2.25%. This is not the rate that we get as the consumer. The bank prime rate is 4.45%, that is passed on to the consumer.

If you have a Home Equity Line Of Credit (HELOC) or a Variable Rate Mortgage then there will be no change to your existing rate.

If you purchased your first home in 2024, you may be eligible for the First Time Home Buyer tax credit. This allows homebuyers to claim up to $10,000 for the purchase of a qualifying home in 2024.
