These high interest rates are great for investors. Please don't ignore what Annuities, GIC's, HISA, Bond funds like corporate bond, short term bonds, global bonds and floating rates can do for your portfolio. Inflation in general refers to a rise in prices of good and services of daily common items. We've definitely seen this as prices have risen over the past two years since Covid hit.

"We continue to expect inflation to rebound back toward 4% soon" said Stephen Brown (senior economist at Capital Economics).

That said, we have ways to combat the rise in inflation using your assets.
