The Bank of Canada lowered interest rates to 2.25 per cent today, but cautioned that monetary policy can't fix the structural economic damage caused by the U.S. trade war.

The Bank of Canada today reduced its target for the overnight rate by 25 basis points to 2.25%, with the Bank Rate at 2.5% and the deposit rate at 2.20%.

My Name is Susan Flanagan and I have been investing in Real Estate for over 25 years. I started out with a condo purchase, then continued on with duplexes, student rentals, rent-to-own projects and also flips. Along the way, I also starting lending my own money from in mortgages . Now, many years later, most of my real estate investing is done with private lending for mortgages through my registered funds ( RRSP and TFSA ) as well as CASH. That eventually lead me to obtaining my mortgage license so that I could also connect borrowers with lenders in the world of “Private Mortgages”.
