Whether you're hosting a party, or just grilling dinner, a few simple safety steps can help keep the good times rolling.

🔥 Keep your BBQ at least one metre away from your home, deck railings, fences, and other combustible materials.

🔥 Check propane connections for leaks before lighting the grill. A simple soap-and-water test can help identify any issues.

🔥 Never leave a lit BBQ unattended.

🔥 Clean grease trays and burners regularly.

🔥 Keep a fire extinguisher nearby and make sure everyone knows where it is!

We had a great time this week at Paddle for a Purpose hosted by ServiceMaster Restore of Niagara in support of Victim Services Niagara.

From the canoe races to the BBQ lunch and networking, it was a fantastic day all around - and the weather couldn’t have been better. ☀ Mother Nature definitely cooperated.

A big thank you to the event organizers for putting together such a meaningful and well-run event in support of Victim Services Niagara, who provides immediate crisis intervention and support to individuals affected by crime and tragic circumstances across the Niagara Region. We’re grateful to have been part of it and to support such an important cause in our community!
