If CAIB 3 or CAIB 4 is next on your list, now is the time to keep that momentum going.Our upcoming immersion classes are:
CAIB 3 — October 23–27
CAIB 4 — November 6–10

These fully immersed classes are designed to help you stay focused, work through the material with support, and keep moving toward that designation.

And if you needed a little motivation… our recent CAIB immersion classes achieved an incredible 93.1% combined pass rate. 👏

So if you’ve been telling yourself, “I’ll finish it later”…. Later is looking suspiciously like now. 😉. Complete CAIB 3 or 4 this fall and you could be one step closer to celebrating at our May 14, 2027 graduation.Let’s finish the year strong.

New Brunswick has TWO seats at the national table — and we couldn’t be prouder! IBANB is thrilled to congratulate the newly appointed Insurance Brokers Association of Canada (IBAC) Executive Officers and Board of Directors for 2026–2027! And for our little province, this announcement feels especially exciting.

👏 James Higgins will continue representing New Brunswick as an IBAC Director, bringing the voice and perspective of our broker community to the national table.
👏 And Brandon McGee has been appointed IBAC President-Elect — an incredible achievement and another strong New Brunswick voice helping lead our profession.

Having two of our own sitting around that table is something we are enormously proud of. It speaks not only to James and Brandon’s leadership and commitment, but also to the strength of the broker community here in New Brunswick. IBAC brings together associations and brokers from coast to coast, and that collaboration matters. When provincial associations work together, share perspectives and speak with a united voice, we are stronger advocates for brokers, consumers and the communities we serve.

Congratulations to Jessica Asano, President; Brandon McGee, President-Elect; Jaycee Turtle, Vice President; Brett McGregor, Chair, and to all of the provincial representatives appointed to the 2026–2027 IBAC Board.

What. A. Week. We're back from the Atlantic Insurance Brokers Convention (AIBC) in beautiful Newfoundland, and we're still smiling. From educational sessions and industry conversations to reconnecting with old friends, making new ones and enjoying that legendary hospitality, you certainly know how to show a bunch of insurance brokers a good time! A HUGE thank you to the local brokers, organizing committee, & volunteers; these events don't just happen, and we know how much heart, hard work and dedication go into pulling them off. ❤️

There's something pretty special about our Atlantic broker family. Four provinces, one industry, and a whole lot of personality! BUT NOW… WATCH THIS SPACE. 👀

✈️ Next stop… St. John’s, Newfoundland & Labrador! This week, we’re heading to Newfoundland for the Atlantic Insurance Brokers Convention, and we can’t wait to connect with our broker community, industry partners and friends from across Atlantic Canada!

Before the festivities begin, we want to recognize something attendees don’t always get to see: the countless hours of planning, preparation and organization that happen behind the scenes to bring an event like this together.

To the Newfoundland & Labrador committee and everyone working behind the scenes — thank you. We know just how much work goes into creating an event of this size, and we’re looking forward to celebrating everything you’ve put together!

What a week in Saskatchewan! IBANB was pleased to attend the Insurance Brokers Association of Canada AGM at the beautiful Dakota Dunes Resort, joining broker associations from across the country for important conversations, collaboration, and a little friendly competition along the way.

We’re also incredibly proud of New Brunswick’s representation at the national table. James Higgins will continue serving as an IBAC Director representing IBANB, while Brandon McGee steps into the role of President-Elect — a fantastic reflection of the leadership and contribution coming from our province.

A huge thank you to IBAS for being such incredible hosts. From the meetings to the hospitality, everything was wonderfully done. One of the best parts of gatherings like this is the reminder that while each provincial association represents its own members and its own market, we are stronger when we work together. Sharing ideas, experiences and challenges helps all of us better support brokers across Canada.

And of course… we can’t forget ! 😂. A big congratulations to IBAA for taking the win this year, and we’re pretty proud to say that little New Brunswick came in SECOND! 🥈💙. Not bad for the little province that could. 😉

Thank you again to IBAS, IBAC and all of our association colleagues for a fantastic few days. We’re heading home with new ideas, stronger connections, and possibly just a tiny bit of determination about next year’s Bipper campaign. 😏

💗 We’re looking forward to Pink Diamond Night! IBANB is proud to join our friends and colleagues from across the insurance community at A Pink Diamond Night, hosted by the IINB, in support of Women’s Insurance Cancer Crusade (WICC).
We’re also delighted to contribute a little something to the evening’s silent auction — The Pink Purse! 💕 A fabulous pink handbag filled with gift cards for shopping, dining and a few well-deserved treats.
Events like this are a wonderful reminder of what our industry can accomplish when we come together — not only as colleagues, but as a community supporting a cause that touches so many.

Great customer service doesn’t just happen. It’s a skill — and a pretty important one. 👏
Our Customer Service for the Insurance Professional (CSIP) program is starting soon, and this fall we’re excited to welcome a new instructor: Cindy Church of GTI!
If you know Cindy, you know. 😉 She’s been part of this industry for years and has earned a reputation as a bit of a customer service guru — which makes her the perfect person to bring this program to life.
CSIP isn’t just for someone brand new to insurance. It’s a great fit for new brokers, CSRs, experienced team members who could use a refresh, or anyone who wants to strengthen the way they communicate with and serve clients.
Throughout the four modules, we’ll dig into the things that actually come up in brokerage life:
