10 years!
September 1st, 2015 I made the move from accounting to finance and it’s been quite a ride. The team has progressed from The Hicks Group to The Hicks James Group to the James Financial Advisory Group. We’ve had a lot of success in growing the business and its all been because of the strength of our team and our internal and external partners.
Tim Hicks and I spent six great years together as partners with him showing me the ropes until he retired in October 2022. Lindsay Herron joined in Fall 2019 and has been an excellent addition to our team and excels in dealing with our clients. Jakub Bundil joined in March 2025 and it’s been a lot of fun out prospecting as a team. Through all the changes, Lindsey Haines has been the consistent presence, with a encyclopedia of knowledge of our clientele and the business, we couldn’t do it without her.
The best part about our business is our clientele, there’s no bad days here when we look at our calendar – just great conversations with great people. We look to continue to grow our team and our business over the next 10 years and beyond. If you are looking for a change, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
