Taking a little time to unwind!

Our team is taking a break to recharge and reflect before the Thanksgiving long weekend. Our offices will close at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, October 9th and will remain closed on Monday, October 12th in observance of Thanksgiving.

We’ll be back and ready to help on Tuesday, October 13th!

When amazing people come together to do amazing things, our community strengthens 💙

We are incredibly grateful to celebrate an extraordinary $75,000 contribution from 15 Wallace McCain Institute Alumni, who each contributed $5,000 toward naming recognition of the Empowerment Studio at the Chalmers Foundation Cancer Support Centre.

A special thank you to Kara Angus for her leadership in bringing together this incredible group of entrepreneurs and leaders and inspiring them to come together for this important cause.

The Care & Support Centre serves as the dedicated home for free community-based cancer support programming, offering welcoming, thoughtfully designed spaces for its Learn & Live Well, Strength & Movement, Care & Support, and Create & Express offerings.

The goal of the centre is to enhance physical well-being, emotional and social resilience, and meaningful community connection for individuals with lived cancer experiences, and their support networks, at any point in their journey.

$5,000 each. $75,000 together. A lasting impact for our community.
