Credit score plays a massive importance when it comes to applying for a mortgage, a personal loan, a place to rent and so much more! You can start building your credit as young as 16 years old, doing so starts your relationship with credit and can be very beneficial if used correctly. Your score reflects utilization, payment history, the depth of your credit ( how long you've had it and what it was used for) and your ability to pay that back. In a perfect world everyone's credit score would be in the 800.... but its not a perfect world.
