Thanks again to a Desjardins Better Things Moment, I am happy to share that September's recipient of $500 of food was James McQueen Public School's morning meal program.

Administered through the Children’s Foundation of Guelph and Wellington, the Keep Kids Fed at School program is more important now than ever before.

Programs like these bring healthy snacks to hungry minds and help children reach their potential as many children arrive at school hungry and unprepared to learn. By providing students with access to nutritious food in an inclusive setting they are helping build strong social skills and learn healthy eating habits.

As the local Desjardins Agent for almost 25 years I am proud to be able to help support programs like these in our community.
