Life insurance probably isn’t at the top of anyone’s September to-do list.

But that’s kind of the point of Life Insurance Awareness Month.

A lot can change in a few years: a new mortgage, kids, a business, higher income, or more people depending on you. If your life has changed, your coverage may need to change with it.

Right now, qualifying new Lifetime Term 25 & 30 policies with $500,000+ of coverage may qualify for a 10% premium reduction through December 31.

Our office will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday, July 1, for Canada Day.

We’ll reopen Thursday, July 2, and will respond to messages as soon as we’re back in the office.

If you’re out celebrating, there are a few great local events happening around the area, including Canada Day activities in Didsbury, Olds, Carstairs, Airdrie, and Calgary.

Didsbury: The Didsbury Museum has Canada Day activities, birthday cake at 1 p.m., Legion involvement, museum exhibits, a moose naming raffle, kids’ souvenir activities, and a vendor market at Moose Fence Park from 12 to 4 p.m

Olds: Olds has kick-off fireworks tonight, June 30, at 11 p.m. at Rotary Athletic Park, then a July 1 parade at 10 a.m. and activities from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Olds Sportsplex, including bounce houses, Super Dogs, free cookies/popcorn, vendors, and food trucks.

Carstairs: Carstairs has Canada Day celebrations July 1, including a bike parade at Memorial Park, games and activities from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., and fireworks at the Carstairs Golf Course.

June 3rd is officially National Broker Day, which means we get a whole 24 hours where the industry celebrates what we do.

But let’s be honest—nobody wants to read a corporate speech about "synergy." Around here, being a broker just means we’re the ones grouping up with you against the premium spikes, the bad drivers, and the automated phone trees.

While the rest of the industry tries to replace humans with broken chatbots, our team is right here in the trenches every single day. They are the ones translating rigid underwriting jargon into plain English, tracking down missing paperwork, and fighting to make sure our neighbors don't get hosed. They keep this place running, they keep our clients protected, and they do it all while maintaining their sanity (mostly).

When you deal with our team, you aren’t calling a giant, faceless call center out east that thinks Alberta is just one giant farm. You’re dealing with locals who care about this community and actually answer the phone.
