Meet Jamie Thomson - our President and Founder. Jamie is a senior executive, having served in the capacity of President, COO and CFO, with both Canadian public and private companies.
Upon graduation from St. Mary’s University, and the Certified General Accountants program, he began his career working in variety of different industries, primarily in the small to mid-size range, including seven years with a US multinational.
Jamie has been an equity business owner in two different businesses spanning almost 20 years. He has an ability to identify opportunities and turn them into significant financial gain. Entrepreneurial in outlook with a keen appreciation for financial performance, Jamie focuses on measuring organizational results versus industry norms and creating strategies to close the gap. He likes to take it a step further, by building consensus amongst the team and employing tactics to close the gaps.
Jamie is a change agent. He has initiated and managed organizational change in several organizations, including the divestiture and acquisition of business units and companies. His preferred approach is working with people and problem solving as a team. With a strong sense of urgency to complete the task, his focus is delivering operational excellence through a well-crafted vision and a solid strategic plan.
