There are over 80,000 licensed rideshare drivers in Toronto alone. Under Ontario law, a standard auto policy does not cover drivers carrying passengers for compensation. They need a specific endorsement on their policy. Not every driver has it. So what happens when there's an accident? If that driver's insurance is voided because they never disclosed their rideshare work to their insurer, here's what most people don't realize:Under Ontario's Insurance Act (Section 268), as a passenger, your own auto policy is first in line to pay your Accident Benefits.Even though you weren't driving.

Today I turned another year older, and I spent my birthday exactly where I wanted to be — sitting across the table from the two people who matter most to me in this world. My daughters.❣️ My heart. My everything.Their card touched my soul in a way that reminded me why I work as hard as I do, why I never give up, and why I will always show up for them — no matter what. These two young ladies will never have to wonder if their father loves them. They will never have to question if someone has their back. As long as God gives me breath, I am theirs. I don't need grand gestures or expensive gifts. The best present I received today was their laughter, their company, and the look in their eyes that told me I was doing something right. To my girls — I love you beyond words. You make me want to be a better man every single day. Everything I do, I do for you. And to everyone who wished me a happy birthday — thank you sincerely.
