I’ve been called out by a customer named Cathy Davidson by her DL, who on fb calls herself Kathie A Davidson. As a used car sales person I strive to do my best to help anyone in need of a vehicle regardless of their credit circumstances. Such was the case with Cathy or Kathy. She came to see us in March of this year with one of her boyfriends to view our inventory. I showed her a 2wd vehicle that we also have an identical one in awd but instead of the awd vehicle she settled on the 2wd vehicle and took it for a test drive. Upon returning, she was pleased with the car and she borrowed from her boyfriend at the time the deposit required to finance her vehicle because she has no money. From her history we learned later that she hasn’t been able to hold down a job for more a month at a time and relies on others to furnish her financial obligations. Nevertheless we prepared a contract that she signed and we organized for a GPS to be put into her vehicle as we normally do for new customers trying to reestablish their credit score. The GPS installer at the time we contracted was less experienced in the installation of GPS systems then he let us to believe and regrettably did not do a very good job in the installation. As a result of the faulty installation, Ms Davidson’s vehicle was not working the way it was when she left our lot. When she let us know about her issue, we promptly set up an appointment with a professional GPS installer close by to correct her issue. She did not show for her appointment. 2 other appointments were made after prearranging with Ms Davidson that she also refused to go to. Cathy or Kathie, became constantly late in her monthly car payments with excuses and lies to buy her time to extend her car payments to avoid late penalties and interest charges as per her contract and when contacted with a reminders of her up coming car payments coming due, we were met with profanity and illiterate language barriers in her text reminding us of her faulty performing vehicle. Several attempts were made to correct this with her and when she finally showed up months later to pay her once again late car payment and show us the problems she was having with her car, we learned that the car performed the very same way it did at the time of purchase with nothing wrong with it at all. She decided just recently to threaten us with legal action because we decided after 3 months of continuous late car payments to eventually add late penalties and interest to remind her that she cannot just pay her car payment whenever she feels like it. There are responsibilities that have to be met each month and the company precludes late charges just like any other company that bills their customers when late!!! Because Cathy or Kathie didn’t like this she decided that now is the time to post derogatory slanderous remarks about the company and me in particular. All this self absorbed bad and poor me posts she is boasting about is self inflicted and by no means the practice and experience she had with me or our company. Truth be told, Cathy or Kathie A Davidson is broke too lazy to find work (Thanks to Covid) and has no other boyfriends that are dumb enough to furnish money to a hideous deadbeat that can’t hold down a job or take responsibility for her own decisions and actions. It is clear from her history and actions that she never intended to pay for her car and with all the lies and excuses she has displayed through slander, she took advantage of a good natured person like myself who just wanted to help her.
