Statistics Canada shows below Insurance premiums continue to rise. As a result make sure you are building in annual increases and be sure to shop around each year to make sure you are getting the best rates possible.

We have recently expanded our short-term rental portfolio with the acquisition of a beautiful 2-bedroom, 1.5-bathroom property located just outside Canmore.

After completing initial updates to the decor, paint, and furniture, we elected to renovate the bathroom. With peak season approaching and every day counting in short-term rentals, we accelerated the renovation process. Kevin Russell, our general contractor, and Nathan, our plumber, demolished the bathroom on Saturday and installed new fixtures, including a tub, toilet, and vinyl tile flooring.

Another significant milestone for our team.

We have officially sold and closed on our 20-unit apartment building in NW Edmonton, with results that exceeded expectations. From the outset, we believed this asset represented a strong opportunity, and it’s very rewarding to see that potential realized. Our original exit strategy was to sell within 24 months, and we are pleased to have successfully completed the sale in just 20 months.

One of the most fulfilling aspects of real estate investing is the ability to return investors’ original capital along with a strong profit, and we’re pleased to have over-delivered on this project.

With our investors now fully repaid and realizing an excellent return, we are turning our attention to the next opportunities ahead. Successful projects like this are the result of careful planning, strong partnerships, and disciplined ex*****on.
