Had a wonderful two days at the Ontario Federation of Agriculture (OFA) AGM this Monday and Tuesday! It was fantastic to connect with our dedicated farming delegates from across Ontario and discuss how we at Co-operators can best support their insurance and investment needs.

A major highlight was connecting with Mark Reusser (Director, OFA & Co-operators Board), Chris Johnson (Director, Gay-Lea Board & Co-operators Board) and Jack Wilkinson (former president OFA & retired Co-operators Board). Their perspectives are invaluable as we work to provide relevant and affordable insurance solutions for the agricultural community.

I also enjoyed watching "The Farmettes in We Lend a Hand," Colin Field's newest project – a great blend of entertainment and a fresh perspective on farm life from 1940s!

A big thank you to Christian Chopp, Associate Financial Planner, and Ian A., Associate Insurance Advisor, for joining me at the Farm Specialist booth. Many productive conversations and a great way to collaborate on strengthening financial security for our clients and their communities.

Looking forward to continuing these important conversations and supporting the future of farming in Ontario!

🚗 Reminder: Ahead of the Cobourg Santa Claus Parade this Saturday at 6:00 pm, please note there is no parking on King Street starting at 3:00 pm as we prepare for the parade route, which begins at William St. & King St. (Cobourg Library) and continues east along King Street (to D'Arcy Street).

🎅Since 1955, the parade has kicked off the Christmas season—bringing families, neighbours, and friends together for a night filled with festive magic.

☃️You’ll see creative floats from local schools, community groups, and organizations, bands filling the streets with music, and—yes—Santa himself!
