Please be advised that Phil Gaudet, CPA and Rob Fuller, PBA will be combining professional services and opening an accounting office at 291 Meteghan Connector on January 22, 2024 under the professional partnership of White Perkins Associates, CPAs Inc.

Phil would like to advise his valued clients that they can continue to contact him by phone 902-769-2000 or email [email protected]. Yarmouth or Pubnico drop-off or pickup can be arranged.

Rob would like to advise his valued clients that he will be present in that office at least two days per week, usually Thursdays and Fridays. Clients are welcome to drop off at the new Clare office or the White Perkins Associates - Yarmouth office. Pubnico drop-off can also be arranged.

There will be staff at that location between 8:30 and 5:00 Monday to Friday (as well as 8:30 to 12:00, on Saturday, for the tax season). Looking forward to seeing existing clients as the year continues!

The office of Phil Gaudet CPA Inc. will be temporary closed for the day in order to move offices. We will remain in the same building but our office will now be located on the top floor.

The office of Phil Gaudet CPA Inc. is currently seeking a full-time receptionist for a period of 6 months with the potential of turning into year-round employment. This position will start in early January 2021.
Location: Church Point, Nova Scotia
Hours: 37.5 hrs
Duties:
• Maintain customer confidentiality
• Bookkeeping
• Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
• Schedule and confirm appointments
• Order and maintain regular office supplies
• Greet customers
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Collect payment from customers
• Perform data-entry, documentation, printing and filling duties
Specific Skills:
• Able to work as part of a team and independently without supervision
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Sage 50
• Problem solving skills and attention to detail are very important
• Bilingual is a must: French and English
• General clerical work
Education:
• High school graduation certificate
• Office Administration certificate or equivalent

Please note that the new programs are evolving almost daily.

The Government has made an announcement today that will include more businesses in the Wage Subsidy. Your business requires a 15% drop in revenue to qualify. Secondly, new and growing businesses can chose to compare their revenues with January and February of 2020 instead of March of 2019.
