British Columbians can now take the knowledge test required for their Class 5–8 passenger vehicle and motorcycle Learner’s licence online — from the comfort of home.

This new option makes it easier to access testing, especially for people who have difficulty getting to an office. It will also help reduce wait times at driver licensing locations across BC.

• Same test as in-person
• Available in 12 languages
• Secure, with monitoring to protect test integrity

Prefer to test in person? In-office testing is still available.

After passing online, you’ll still need to visit a driver licensing office, Driver Licensing Agent or Service BC location for a vision test, photo, and to get your learner’s licence issued.

Chetwynd International Chainsaw Carving Championship is celebrating its 20th year, and planning is well underway for this year’s event, taking place June 11–14, 2026.

This event brings thousands of visitors to our community each year and delivers a strong economic impact for local businesses. It also continues to build Chetwynd’s reputation on the world stage.
