Over the weekend we celebrated! Nineteen years (and a few days) ago, we said “I do”, and through all the joys, adventures and challenges…here we are! Still celebrating, still laughing and still figuring out this crazy and beautiful thing called life side by side, one “What should we have for dinner?” at a time.

I’m incredibly grateful to have such a supportive and loving partner, and one of the most wonderful humans beside me through every season life brings.

The Bow Valley has been home base for my real estate business for almost 20 years, but sometimes, longtime clients ask me to help them venture a little farther.

These are clients I’ve had the pleasure of helping over the years, and I was genuinely touched that they wanted me alongside them for this next big move, changing things up to a lifestyle outside of Canmore. We first sold their beautiful Three Sisters condo at Trailside Lodge.

The next step was their new home wish list. This time the goal was more space, a huge fenced yard (ideally with the perfect hot tub spot!), and a quiet setting. I tried very hard to be a normal tourist and not point out every beautiful building, stone wall, window box, and cobblestone street oozing in charm. I was only mildly successful…🙈

Travelling always reminds me how much place matters. The architecture, the streets, the views and the feeling that every corner has its own story. They all play a part in how we connect to a place.

It’s one of the things I love about real estate too. It’s never just the walls and the square footage. It’s the setting, the details, the lifestyle, and most of all, the feeling a place gives you.
