From Prairies to the Atlantic 🌾➡️🌊

This summer, our family took a big leap—we left the wide-open Prairies behind and made the move to the East Coast of Canada.

It hasn’t been without challenges:
🚗 Three flat tires (all on the side of the highway).
⛴ A ferry crossing delayed by weeks.
🔥 Arriving in Newfoundland just as a wildfire raged nearby.
…and an entire summer spent in a relentless heat wave.

But through it all, my husband calmly navigated every setback, our kids found joy in every campground (as long as there was a place to swim 🏊‍♀️), and we laughed, cried, and held onto the sense of adventure that brought us here in the first place.

As a financial advisor, I’m often reminded that life is full of unexpected twists—but with planning, resilience, and the right support, you can weather any storm. This summer was a powerful reminder of that.

Here’s to new beginnings, new coastlines, and embracing the journey—even when it doesn’t go as planned. 🌊✨

👶💙 “They were born into a world that felt uncertain…”

Our first daughter was born in 2019.
Her little sister arrived in 2021.
And both came into a world that — let’s be honest — felt a little upside down. 🌍
