Today we spent some time with United Way Halton and Hamilton learning about the great work they do in our community and packing back packs with school supplies to support kids heading back to school in September.

Earlier this year we launched a "Give Back" program where staff can nominate local non profit organizations to receive a donation from our office.

Jackie nominated Food for Life for all the amazing work they do in our community and they were selected as the first recipient to receive $500.

Last week we came together with our colleagues from Meester Insurance Centre for a company Town Hall. We reflected on the success and milestones of the past year, heard an inspiring key note from Neil Thornton, talked about future plans, and spent time in group discussion.

We also rolled out a brand new Vision, Mission, and Values statement and spent time reflecting on the importance of personalized customer service in today's fast paced world.

Thank you to Heartland Mutual Insurance for their continued generosity. We nominated both Helping Hands Street Mission and Halton Learning Foundation for the I Heart Community fund, and both organizations were selected to receive $5000.

Last week we had the opportunity to host friends from Indwell, Shalem Mental Health Network, YWCA Hamilton, St. Matthew's House and Streetlight Christian Church at the Playhouse Cinema for a screening of the Muppet Christmas Carol.

While we were unable to host our annual community skate night due to renovations at the arena, we are happy to still be able to bring the community together and spread some holiday cheer.

We spent last week delivering over 1100 Smile Cookies in support of YWCA Hamilton to spread joy around the Burlington and Hamilton area. Great to see so many friends and clients!
