Across Canada, the Student Work Placement Program (SWPP) is making it easier for organizations to grow and recruit new talent, all while saving money.

When you hire an eligible post-secondary student, organizations can access up to $5000 in wage subsidy support.

Applications are open for the Fall 2026 term (September 1-December 31).

Because applications are reviewed on a first come, first-served basis, applying early means your application can progress while you hire your student(s).

SWPP, Powered by Magnet is funded by the Government of Canada.
