What I wouldn’t give to be looking down at this tray right now. Living in Britannia Beach, this has been our place—and it’s hard to believe that the is no more.⁠

Thank you to Lynne Cook for everything you have done for Britannia, not just serving up prawns and burgers for generations but your time on the Fire Department, hosting Halloween scavenger hunts, and ensuring Santa made his way to Britannia and the Easter Bunny too. ⁠

You have been the backbone of our community, and we will never take for granted eating a Mountain Woman burger on the dock and watching the sunset over the mountain. Your bus provided adventure and comfort food folded in a checkered wrap.⁠

This has been a challenging year for Lynne, Jesse, Denise and the girls, and we want you to know how much you have done for us and how much you mean to us.⁠
