Hi everyone!

Yesterday, the Bank of Canada announced that it is maintaining its policy rate at the current level. Many homeowners and buyers are wondering what that means for them. This means the prime rate has also remained unchanged, which can be especially relevant for those with variable-rate mortgages, home equity lines of credit (HELOCs), and lines of credit tied to prime.

While every situation is different, rate decisions can impact mortgage planning, renewals, refinancing conversations, and home buying timelines.
