IMPORTANT!!!! Hello Lighthouse Wealth Management clients and followers!

It has been brought to our attention that a new scam is happening and that the scammer is using our phone number and business name. We know how much our clients trust us, so we wanted to post this so that you don’t get caught in this scam thinking this is actually coming from our office.

We do not reach out to anyone asking for account numbers, bank account numbers or anything of that sort. We also do not use PayPal or any other web-based payment app.

If we ever need anything from you, you will hear from myself (Gary), Angela, Lindsay, or Mitchell directly. No one else will call on our behalf and we do not use an automated robot to make calls. So, if it is not one of us, hang up!

So far, the scam is a “shot-gun” approach as the people that have told us of this scam are not even clients. We have not been hacked and none of our client’s information has been stolen.

Thank you for your continued trust. If you did hear from this scammer or any other scammers; and gave them any information; please change your passwords for the affected accounts immediately, and contact your financial institution if required.

Again, this is a random scam that is using our name and contact information to try and reach people.

Please be careful out there and remember to treat everyone with the respect and kindness that you would like in return. We need to remain a caring community during these uncertain times.

Hello, My name is Mitchell MacLean. I am thrilled to be joining the team here at Lighthouse Wealth Management and embarking on this exciting new chapter in my career. Throughout my professional journey, I have been passionate about helping individuals and families achieve their financial goals while building meaningful relationships based on trust, education, and service.
I hold an Advanced Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing from George Brown College; a Mutual Fund License issued through the Canadian Securities Institute, and a Life Insurance and Investment License issued through Durham College. Over the past three years; I have worked with one of Canada's Big Six banks, supporting clients with their investment and credit needs and helping them make informed financial decisions.
While I have greatly valued my experience in the banking industry; I have always sought opportunities to make a deeper impact in the lives of those I serve and within the greater community. Community involvement has been a cornerstone of my life for more than a decade through my work with local non-profit organizations. Today, I am proud to serve as President of a Community Foundation, where I help oversee the granting of funds to local charities and organizations that provide vital services and support throughout our community.
I believe that financial well-being begins with education and empowerment. I am deeply committed to promoting financial literacy and helping individuals gain the confidence and knowledge needed to make informed decisions about their financial futures. So, how many of you set a New Year's Resolution of starting to think about Retirement. We here at Lighthouse Wealth Management have been helping folks since 1993. That is a lot of experience of providing expertise over the past three decades but equally important, keeping abreast with today's challenges.
We put together a "questionnaire" about "Countdown to Retirement". This is a 6 page thought provoking questionnaire about your personal objectives. There are no fancy financial calculations - just covering different time frames like planning to retire in 15 years or in 3-5 years or even if you have just retired.
