Income tax season has come again.

Two things to note when gathering your information for your tax preparer:

Did you stay at a hotel, resort or campground in Ontario in 2022? If you have the receipts your tax preparer can apply for the Ontario Staycation Tax Credit for you.

Did you receive a letter requesting repayment of COVID-19 Emergency Relief Benefits and you have not repaid them? You will likely have some or all of this amount withheld from any refund you are expecting.

If you are looking for a new tax preparer I am taking on new clients and would be happy to help you out.

2020 Income Tax deadline is tonight at midnight. It’s not too late to file. I can still accommodate anyone needing to get their return filed.

If you received CERB funds and are afraid you may have to pay this year, you should still file before the deadline to avoid late filing fees.

This years income tax filing deadline is April 30, 2021. There has been no extension yet announced by the Federal Government.

If you are expecting a refund and would like to get your taxes filed, or you just want to get them filed for your own peace of mind, please contact me.

If you are concerned that you may have to pay income tax due to the receipt of CERB funding, there are measures in place to help you. But you must file by April 30, 2021. Failure to file by this date will trigger late filing charges.

You can either drop off your paperwork at my door or we can complete the entire process through email. I can access most of the information I need from the CRA directly with just a few key pieces of information from you.

Expecting a refund and want it now? I can help you with that too. I am a registered discounted and can provide you with your refund immediately.
